Harris Starbrite is a vegan-friendly beer fining, it contains no animal products. It can be used as a direct replacement for isinglass.
Its advantages are it clears beers and ciders quickly. It compacts sediment. It contains no animal products, no sulphites and is GMO free. It also complies with German Purity law regulations and section 9 of the provisional Beer Law.
It is easy to use, simply add 10ml to 23 litres/5 gallons/40 pints of beer or cider towards the end of fermentation and gently stir it in. It will have no negative flavour effect on your beer or cider.
It can be added in the fermenter or keg where it will clear the beer rapidly, or it can be added to the brew at whirlpool or chilled wort stages to improve clarification, stabilisation and filterability in the brewing process.
The bottle contains 30ml so is sufficient for 3 x 5 gallon batches.
