The Uncle Roy's Comestible Concoctions Company produces a fabulous range of natural flavourings. These natural flavours can be used in so many ways - in baking, soups, soft drinks, desserts, sauces, meringues, stews, gravies, stirfries - in fact anywhere you want to have just the right flavour (and it's flavour without the bits!!). We call them liquid ingredients and use them all the time. The flavours are also in use in cosmetics, cooked meats, smoothies, puddings, ice creams, beer, spirits, chocolates, popcorn and even fish bait! But the reason we have begun to sell them is primarily for creating some very special gins. They lend themselves to a lot of fun experimenting for you to find your own favourite flavours. As a starter, we would suggest taking around 3ml of an essence to add to a 750ml bottle of gin maybe increasing to 5ml depending on taste. We use as a base the standard Still Spirits Top Shelf English Gin essence. This will make 3 x 750ml bottles of gin using base distilled spirit. Of course they can also be added to plain spirit to give a nice flavoured vodka, or maybe to a whiskey or rum? Thats the experimental fun bit...
